How We Work – Pixel Culture

At Pixel Culture, we follow a clear, step-by-step process designed to keep every project organized, transparent, and stress-free. Whether you need video editing, document design, or graphic design, our workflow ensures you always know what to expect at each stage.

1. Enquiry & First Consultation

All projects begin through our Client Enlist page, where you submit your service request and project details.

After reviewing your enquiry, a team member will contact you to:

  • Understand your goals

  • Clarify your requirements

  • Provide a tailored quote based on scope and complexity

Optional In-Person Meeting (Gaborone & Surrounding Areas)

To build trust and ensure clarity before work begins, clients may request a face-to-face consultation. We are flexible and can arrange to meet in public locations such as:

  • Cafés

  • Restaurants

  • Hotel lounges

This option is especially useful for:

  • First-time clients

  • Large or complex projects

  • Businesses that prefer formal discussions before payment

2. Project Approval & Deposit

Once the scope, timeline, and pricing are agreed upon:

  • A deposit is required to secure your project slot

  • Work begins immediately after payment confirmation

This ensures fairness, scheduling commitment, and efficient delivery timelines.

3. Production Process by Service Type

Video Editing Workflow

For video projects such as:

  • Weddings

  • Podcasts

  • Vlogs

  • YouTube content

  • Corporate videos

Clients are required to upload footage via Google Drive or another agreed file-sharing platform.

You may choose either:

  • Sequenced footage in one timeline file, or

  • Raw clips uploaded separately for full creative editing

To ensure the final product matches your expectations, please provide:

  • Reference videos (if available)

  • Editing style preferences

  • Any specific scenes to highlight or remove

Document Design Workflow

For document-based work such as:

  • Company profiles

  • Proposals

  • Portfolios

  • School or business documents

Clients must provide:

  • All written content

  • Logos and branding elements

  • Any structural preferences or templates

Pixel Culture focuses on:

  • Clean layouts

  • Professional typography

  • Structured visual hierarchy for readability and impact

If you do not have a prepared layout, we will design the document structure from scratch using industry-standard formatting.

Graphic Design Workflow

For visual assets such as:

  • Flyers

  • Posters

  • Social media adverts

  • Event banners

  • Promotional graphics

Clients should provide:

  • Text content

  • Logos

  • Brand colors

  • Reference styles (optional)

If assets are not provided, Pixel Culture will:

  • Source appropriate stock imagery

  • Apply creative direction aligned with your industry and target audience

4. Review & Revisions

Once production is complete, you will receive a preview link or sample to review before final delivery.

You may request revisions based on your selected package:

  • Minor adjustments are handled quickly

  • Larger changes may affect timelines depending on scope

Our goal is to refine the work until it aligns with your vision while maintaining professional quality standards.

5. Final Approval, Payment & Delivery

After you approve the final version:

  • The remaining balance is paid

  • Final files are delivered in the agreed formats

Delivery formats may include:

  • MP4 for video

  • PDF for documents

  • PNG/JPG or print-ready files for graphics

We accommodate clients with flexible payment methods to make transactions simple and accessible.

6. Turnaround Times

Estimated delivery times:

Short-form videos (7–13 minutes):
2 days

Long-form videos (45–60 minutes):
Up to 3 days

Graphic design and documents:
Typically 1–3 days depending on complexity

Projects may be delivered earlier when possible without compromising quality.

A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR

" Pixel Culture was built on a simple idea, that powerful visuals can change how people see you and your story.

I’ve always believed that content should feel real, intentional, and impactful. That’s why every project we take on is treated like it matters ..because it does. Whether you're building a brand or capturing a once-in-a-lifetime moment, we’re here to bring that vision to life.

We don’t just create content, we create experiences."
